Entry for Clip Studio Paint’s 35th International Illustration Contest
Clip Studio Paint’s 35th international illustration contest theme was “magic”. I wanted to illustrate something with the feeling of wholesome happiness while incorporating said magic. In the end, I settled on a mother and her two daughters picking flowers in a meadow. Mom uses magic to turn petals into butterflies, watching smiles grow on her girls’ faces as the creatures flutter around them.
